I think the game is better when people can scan, after all you can't land without scans and without landing you don't have a game. So the plan is to have Scan Planets that auto-complete scans. Is this a good idea?

I like the idea of having scan planets so you can have scans to land. I don't like the idea of have scan planets that automaticaly scan for you. That kind of takes the fun out of planets getting defense. I think you should have to request scans, that way if you don't get up early enough you might not get defense unless your alliance request scans and defends you.
